Decade is more than just a storefront, it’s a culture. Configured in loft apartment styling, the boutique was entirely handcrafted by it’s owner Steve Ford. And while it’s not not your traditional shopping experience, Decade features a variety of new brands including Obey, Freepeople, Commune, Insight, FluxUs, Brixton, WeSC and DeadBuryDead Just to name a few.
Steve Ford, owner and founder, worked in Los Angles for Worn Free, a company that reproduces original tees famously worn by rock legends, before returning to Pittsburgh to launch the business in 2006. “My dream was to come back to Pittsburgh and create a unique store that was unlike anything in the city. We did it and want to continue to be a driving force in the city’s innovative and eclectic fashion scene,” said Ford
