When Josh asked me if I’d be interested in joining the team @BuzzNtheBurgh, I said yes pretty quickly. I started out blogging at Timebomb (TBC for life, btw) and loved that I had an outlet to do what I do best; talk. Known as many things, one being a model, most think the majority of what I do is shutting up and taking some pictures. Sorry to break it to you guys, but that’s actually the thing I like doing the least. For some reason, people like to hear what witty, pretty girls have to say. Thus, Here I am.

So now that you might care what I have to say, you’ll have to understand where I’m coming from. Here’s a quick backdrop on me: Born & raised in the 412. Started going to open calls when I was flat chested and brace-faced, needless to say I was turned away. Started dancing instead for a while, which lead me to going to school for dance. That didn’t work out so well and by my senior year of high school, if I wasn’t at work, and I wasn’t with my dude, I didn’t have much to do. That’s when I started getting into promotional modeling – body paint, to be exact – which eventually lead me to fashion shows, music videos, iPhone apps, being the ‘feature’ of the event/magazine/website, commercials, radio spots, and finally, a talent agency (which still took awhile, tits, smile, and all.) Thus far, my images have made way more of a controversy than I ever thought they could (the wild ones haven’t even been seen – and never will be), my name has enough buzz around it that people feel I’m worth hiring (pretty dope), and enough people know of me, regardless of what they know me by (I have a few alias, some of which have had just as much bad publicity as they have good) that I’m now here, writing this, for you! But the best part about getting to add my opinion and all of you seeing it, is that I get to actually let you in as who I am as a person, and not just the ‘hot model bitch who listens to hip hop and smokes good. And didn’t she work at Timebomb?’ overview. Anyways  I’m working my ass off, and although it’s starting to pay off,  I still have so much more to conquer.

I’ve made a ton of networking connections and even some friends along the way, so although I’m racing to the top, I’m more than happy to bring some people with me. That’s one of the main reasons why I love blogging, I not only get to promote myself, but I get to promote my good friends and my talented peers as well. So for the rest of my blogging career here at Buzz, you’ll be hearing about a ton of shit; hip hop, fashion, and hype. So to break it down.. rappers, spoken word, instrumentalist, beat boxers, break dancers, producers, producing studios, behind the scenes, behind the pictures, behind the videos. Models, photographers, shops doing their thing, upcoming fashion shows, upcoming fashion, upcoming fashionistas (and fashionistos). Events I think are worth your time, projects that are push worthy, neccesary graffiti research, politics worth fighting over.  This is just to name a few of what I hope to cover. Got a story you’d like to share?  I’m listening ;)
